&SISTERS pops up at Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty Café to celebrate the launch of her viral brand Rare Beauty’s in beauty mecca Space NK
When we heard that Selena Gomez was in town, we admit we might have let out a little squeal. The former Disney icon and internally recognised songstress sits high up on our list of truly #inspiringsisters as a champion for creating more positive definitions of what beauty truly is and more recently, raising awareness of Mental Health with her new vegan brand pledging to donate $100 million over the next ten years to help address the gaps in mental health services, particularly for underserved communities.
When the Space NK team wanted &SISTERS to be their vegan period care on hand to support the thousands of visitors at the café, we jumped at the chance. After all, sisters supporting sisters is what we do! We love collaborating with like-minded female-founded brands that share our vision for a more sustainable, healthier future.
What is Rare Beauty?
Rare Beauty founded by Selena Gomez, is a beauty company which offers make up as well as a safe welcoming space in beauty. On a mission to help everyone celebrate their individuality by redefining what beautiful means, aiming to break down the unrealistic standards of what perfection is. Built on a philosophy of celebrating our own uniqueness, Rare Beauty is more than just gorgeous highlighters. It’s highlighting essential conversations about mental health, self-esteem and what it means to be beautiful.
… and The Rare Beauty Café?
To celebrate the launch of the hotly anticipated brand in the UK, SPACE NK has launched the uber instagrammable Rare Beauty Café- a Pop-up café and bar based on Great Castle Street, London where you can browse the entire range at your leisure whilst indulging in some delectable coffee and cakes. But hurry, the cafe is only open until 6th March 2022.
Rare Beauty Café’s launch has been covered by Glamour & Elle and seen queues round the block full of ethical wellness enthusiasts eager to get more of a taste of the vegan mindful future of the beauty industry. The Rare Beauty Pop-Up is offering make up, drinks and cake, alongside makeup master classes from the pros.
